By using textiles, metals, and drawing, Camille manifests objects of proto-scientific intuition. They investigate the space between the axiomatic ‘scientific method’ that we are ruled by, and notions of pre-colonial ways of knowing- while questioning their positionality and right to these legacies of knowledge production. Where do these methodologies overlap? When are they reproducing colonial legacies, when are they wholly generative of a new way of thinking? does that exist?
